Internship (2021)
GenConnects (2021) Internship
In 2021, I worked in Singapore as an intern at GenConnects (aka. Generation Connects) online. GenConnects is a company that focuses on elderly health and spreading awareness on diseases and giving advice to the elderly.
My main task was animating 2D animations on various diseases/ health concerns at old age. I was also in charge of storyboarding, scriptwriting, editing the animations and producing vector visuals for their app they were working on. I was paired up with a UI/UX intern to divide all these tasks as well.
Vector art/ Graphics
All these vector visuals were made by me, for some fliers and graphics used in their website. They were made at the same time as the animations, so everything came out simultaneously. The company had a website, www.healbri.com which showcased these visuals. They also told me to maintain the same style and aesthetic that represented the company's image.
Animations (snippets)
As for the animations, I can only show small clips from a few of them. These animations are very minimalistic to comply with the aesthetic of their brand.
A lot of these animations had to go through multiple changes and approvals before getting finalised. By the end of my internship, I had produced 18 short animations.
As a general gage, some of the topics I animated were advices on 'preventing heart attacks', 'Quitting tabacco and coping with withdrawals', "Knowing diabetes', etc.
